Displays

LCD monitors range in size, response times, and brightness. 19"to 20" is great for home and office use. 22"to 24" is ideal for anyone playing games, or doing graphics work.

Different monitors use different mounting systems. Does your monitor need to be adjustable? (Good if you've got multiple people using the computer.)

Keyboards

How many buttons does one keyboard need? Depends on what you are using it for.

Keyboards are now specialised for media, gaming, internet and business use, by including different additional keys. Play a lot of music through your computer? Then you are going to want stop, play, pause and volume buttons!

Do you do a lot of typing? Get sore wrists at the end of the day? An ergonomic keyboard could be what you need. Ergonomic keyboards are structured to make typing easier and less stressful on your tendons and joints.

Mice
